Dr. Jyotsna Srikanth (Indian Classical / Indian Jazz / World Fusion Violinist)
Dr.Jyotsna Srikanth started her musical career at the age of nine. She is an all rounder who has given numerous Indian classical solo concerts, jugalbandhi concerts, jazz - fusion concerts and Contemporary Indian Music shows. Her violin playing has a nice blend of musical expression and emotion & technique. She has been featured in all major festivals globally like WOMAD – UK , BBC Radio 3, Red Violin Festiva – Wales, Cleveland Music Festival - USA, World Trade Auditorium - Singapore, East-West International Music Encounter - India, The Music Academy, Chennai, etc. She has received many awards & titles at National & International levels. Jyotsna is also an accomplished western classical violinist too. She has played violin for nearly 200 commercial Indian films She has also composed music for teleserials, dance ballets & albums and has released many albums. . She is a medical doctor, a postgraduate in Pathology. She is now into music completely & is presently based in London.
